Getting started

Add your contacts — Go to Contacts → + New contact. Add the name, company, country, and phone number. You can also scan a business card (📷 Scan card) or import from Excel.

Start a discussion — Go to Discussions → + New discussion. Add the parties involved and the products you are discussing. Use discussions to track conversations before they become deals.

Promote to a deal — When a product in a discussion is agreed, open the discussion → click the product → Promote to deal. This creates a deal linked to the discussion.

Track milestones — Open a deal and tick off milestones as they complete (e.g. Contract signed, LC opened, Shipment made, Commission received).

Log communications — On any deal or discussion, use + Add note to log calls, emails, WhatsApp messages, and meetings with a date and channel.

Frequently asked questions

Can multiple people use the same account?
Currently each account is a single-user workspace. Multi-user / team workspaces are planned for a future update. For now, share login credentials within your team if needed.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your data is stored in an isolated workspace — no other user or company can see it. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). See the Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I use CommDesk on my phone?
Yes. Open commdesk.pages.dev in your phone browser, then use "Add to Home Screen" to install it as an app. On iPhone use Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen. On Android use Chrome → menu → Add to Home Screen.
How do I add milestones specific to my business?
Go to Settings → Deal milestones. You can rename, reorder, add, or remove milestones. Changes apply to all new deals. Existing deals keep their current milestones.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Go to Settings → Export deals (Excel), Export discussions (Excel), or Export all my data (JSON). The JSON export includes everything — contacts, deals, and discussions.
What currencies does CommDesk support?
Deal values and commissions are entered as plain numbers — you can use any currency. The app displays values as-is (e.g. enter 50000 for $50,000 or ₹50,000). Currency labels are not enforced.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings → scroll to Danger zone → Delete my account & all data. This permanently removes all your contacts, deals, discussions, and your account. It cannot be undone.
The app is not loading or saving — what do I do?
Try the following:
1. Refresh the page (pull down on mobile)
2. Sign out and sign back in
3. Check your internet connection
If the problem persists, email support@commdesk.app with a description of what happened.
